What is the Travel Proud Certification?
The Travel Proud certification is an initiative by Booking.com that informs travelers of what they can expect when they choose to stay at a certified property. Achieving this certification requires completion of the Proud Hospitality training session, a 75-minute interactive online course. This session, led by two expert hosts, helps property owners and managers understand the unique barriers that LGBTQ+ travelers often face. It provides insights on how to create a more welcoming and inclusive environment by viewing situations through a different lens.
